Hello everybody. This photograph was taken by my brother on October 25, 2019, this represents for me a lot of emotions, the strongest are the union and the family. There we are my sister, my stepsister and my mother, in one of the most massive marches in the history of Chile.

It also reminds me of the whole year 2019, which I think has been the best I have had so far, I made very good friends, I really enjoyed doing recreational activities, I discovered many hobbies which I still do today.

The photo also reminds me a lot of the time I share with my brother, his teachings, the great person he has become and how much I love him, he is my favorite photographer, I admire him a lot, and thanks to him I have become passionate through the world of photography

A Vision for Change

In the dynamic world of design, it is crucial to explore the possibilities of change in our study programs to stay at the forefront of the field. Here are some areas in which we can reimagine our design education: Our curriculum is the heart of our education. To better prepare students for the ever-evolving design industry, we could introduce more interdisciplinary courses. By incorporating subjects like psychology, marketing, and sustainable design, we can equip students with a broader skill set that's relevant in today's competitive market. Design students often find themselves juggling a heavy workload. To strike a balance, we can consider restructuring the program, offering more flexible schedules, and providing opportunities for internships and practical experiences. This not only eases the workload but also ensures that students are work-ready upon graduation. A conducive environment enhances the learning experience. Investing in modern facilities, such as well-equippe...

WHY DID I CHOOSE MY MAJOR?

Hello everyone, I am in my second year of design, I decided to study this in the last year of my school. When I was little I always liked to make crafts, make small houses and cardboard models. I always wondered what one had to study to build small houses, I asked the adults, they answered me that I had to study architecture. I assumed that I wanted to study that, until I realized that I hated math and geometry, and I really liked history. I became interested in studying law, but after a while I understood that it was just an idea and that in reality that was not going to make me happy. After a winter vacation, I went to visit my uncles in the city of La Serena, I had a conversation with them and I managed to understand what I really wanted to do, and I came to the conclusion that I wanted to study design. When I applied, my only option was to enter design, since I was not interested in another. Lately I have been doing well in online classes, but I always wonder what it woul...

The best holydays ever.

One of the most remarkable holidays of my life took place in Florianópolis, Brazil, during the summer of 2017. It was a 10-day getaway that left me with cherished memories.       I ventured to this stunning island destination with my family. Our days were filled with a mix of relaxation and adventure. We basked in the sun on the pristine beaches of Jurere and Campeche, surfed on the island's renowned waves, and explored the historical and cultural richness of the city center.       What made this holiday exceptional was the unique blend of natural beauty and vibrant culture. The breathtaking sunsets, the delicious Brazilian cuisine, and the warm-hearted locals all contributed to making it the best vacation I've ever had.       I've included some photos to capture the essence of our trip. I can't wait to read about my classmates' experiences  and share my thoughts with them. Also, I'm eagerly awaiting our teacher's insights i...
